I was thinking today how life can change one's life so quickly an unexpectedly and quickly.
I remember October 19, i went out with Kennisha. She is this lady at work who I had fawned over for a while. Very attractive woman. We went out, had a great dinner, had great time and wonderful conversation. She even told me she had competed for AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL (she proved it to me later). I was in awe. But we talked the next week at work and we both came to the realization that we should just maintain a professional and friendly relationship.
I was talking to this other lady, Sherry, who I had no emotional or intellectual connection (she really was not sophisticated at all), but i liked her body, so I figured I could maybe establish a physical relationship with her (body warranted it), so we went out on Wednesday (October 20, just the next day after going out with Kennisha). I could have gotten what I wanted, but she got annoying. Nothing ever happened.
On Thursday, October 21, i had the day off. Jury Duty was cancelled and I decided to take the day off from work. I decided to go to the beach, on my way to the beach I found out a colleague of mine passed away at 2 am that morning. I was sad. I had had plans to go out with Sherry that day, to go to the beach. I was gonna figure out a way to seduce her. That never happened either. I went to the beach and had a wonderful time. I swam and splashed in the water and read a book. I do not remember what else I did that day. Honestly I can't remember.
On Friday morning at 5 something, I got on the chatline. There was this girl who was looking for a friend and through instant message, I found out she was looking for a mate but someone who was of her same faith. Normally I would run away from that, but not sure what it was that drew me to her, but it did. She introduced herself as JAH (i thought it was Jaw), but we spoke for about am hour. She called me at 6 am on the dot. Throughout that day we texted each other, enjoyable texts. I called her even though I thought about not calling her. I really thought there was really no future between us. I had an errand to run and I told her that would call her back. Thought about not calling her back. I did. I had a party to go to. I chose not to go. I kept getting called to go. I was enjoying my conversation with this very intriguing girl.
We hung up at some ungodly hour. I will never forget that day.
